EU-ICMPD Initiative supports Jordanian victim of trafficking shelter staff – enhancing operations and services to victims.

The European Union (EU), together with the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), launched a project to support the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in its efforts to help prevent, protect, prosecute and care for victims of human trafficking.

The project is implemented within the framework of the Migration EU expertise (MIEUX) initiative at the request of the Social Development Ministry of Jordan (‘MOSD’).

ICMPD works with Niger on the challenges of irregular migration among youth

At the request of the Nigerien Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the NGO Graspi (Groupe de Réflexion et d’Action pour le Soutien au Phénomène de l’Immigration), MIEUX/ICMPD held a thematic info-session focusing on irregular migration among youth for governmental and non-governmental Nigerien entities in Niamey 31 July-02 August 2017. This session was the first of three activities, the other two focusing on migration, youth and employment, and the reintegration of returning young migrants.

ICMPD support the Central African Republic government in the promotion of migration management

The European Union (EU), together with the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), has launched a new project to support the Government of the Central African Republic in the area of migration management.

The project, which is implemented within the framework of the MIgration EU eXpertise (MIEUX) Initiative, has been initiated at the request of the Ministry of Interior, Public Security and Territorial Administration of the Central African Republic.
