Description
Political and security instability in the Central Africa Republic has led to internal displacement and The large displacement of refugees from the CAR to neighbouring countries, in a region where high mobility is the norm. Considering the high incidence of migration flows, CAR faces challenges linked to porous borders and human resources at the different border crossing points.

In this context the Ministry of Interior requested technical assistance to support the national authorities in the process of enhancing the national migration policy and migration management system.

The project provided an opportunity for different stakeholders to enhance their skills and exchange with experts from Belgium, France, Mali and Senegal on the topics of migration management,  development of migration policies, institutional structures and coordination, and irregular migration.
