Tajikistan II

Description
In 2014, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other relevant authorities of Tajikistan aimed to increase convictions and improve criminal justice processes in cases of Trafficking in Human Beings.

MIEUX+ supported their efforts by deploying experts from Lithuania, Romania, and the United Kingdom to share international and EU MS standards on methodology, analysis and case management of trafficking crimes.

Through a mix of workshops, on-site missions and a study visit to the United Kingdom, the MIEUX+ team supported the Ministry in their goal whilst promoting involvement from civil society organisations; consolidating networks of cooperation between several institutions; and increasing the knowledge base about these topics.
