Following a request from the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2012, MIEUX enlisted the support of several experts from EU MS and the United Kingdom to exchange knowledge and practices on the topics of document security, border management and procedures, smuggling and trafficking.
This Action served the purpose of assessing the state of play, guiding and advising on the development of border management strategies, whilst contributing to the improvement of inter-agency cooperation of Malaysian authorities.
