Between 2013 and 2015, MIEUX worked with officials from the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare and with experts from Estonia and Italy on the topics of migration data collection and analysis.

One of the most notable results deriving from this Action was the establishment of the National Migration Data Working Group, composed of several agencies that have a stake in producing, analysing and acting upon national-level data on migrants and migration. 

Through a combination of fact-finding missions and information sessions, the authorities together with the experts formulated a set of guidelines for inter-agency cooperation on the production of migration statistics. The learnings were incorporated into a Training of Trainers and the oversight given to the Working Group.
